Fisherman’s Cove Lopez Island

This is a very protected bay however loaded with commercial crabpots during the commercial season. Expect a 5:00 am wakeup from the fishermen if you’re here overnight and expect to have to navigate through a maze of crab buoys. I wondered why we were only one of two boats moored overnight in the bay…We have decided to make this a day trip destination only in the future and to moor closer to the entrance of the bay as the walk from inside the bay to the town is a bit of a trek.
